Sean(Han) Meng is a Chinese-born multidisciplinary designer currently based in Los Angeles. Sean graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University and is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design at the University of California Los Angeles IDEAS program.
Sean is intersted in constructing a multi-agent design system (*seam*) to bridge discplinary domains(*patch*) at the intersection of emerging technologies and computational design. Sean has worked on different architecture projects at Isozaki+HuQian Partners, Plasma+PMA Studio, and various offices and studios. Sean worked as a research assistant at Epiphyte Lab prototyping a machine learning pipeline predicting ecological pattern on architecture surface. Sean has published his research paper Lithopic House: Computational Design Framework for re-Shaping Ecologically Attuned Architectural Systems out of Granular Matter as the second auther on ACADIA 2022 conference: Hybrids and Haecceities. Sean also worked as a fashion designer for Lunar Gala Fashion Show at Carnegie Mellon University where he designed and produced his fashion lines Evanescens and Re:partus for the runway.
